Christmas cookie recipe1 for Rum Balls

3 1/4 cups crushed vanilla wafers1/2 cup confectioners' sugar1 1/2 cups chopped nuts1/2 tablespoon of Vanilla extract 3 tablespoons light corn syrup1/2 cup rum *I recommend using Bacardi or other name brand rum and if you feel like it you can add more but too much will make balls may break apart easily.

Combine crushed vanilla wafers, 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar and nuts. Blend in corn syrup and rum. Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in additional confectioners' sugar. Store in an airtight container several days to develop flavor. Roll again in confectioners' sugar before serving.

Be sure to try these with Chocolate as well just 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa in with your sugar. You will also need to increase your the amount of confectioners sugar to a total 3/4 of cups.
